MelBet applies an automatic odds multiplier to accumulator bets once they reach four selections, and unlike most of the site's other promotions, there's no cash bonus to claim or wagering to clear — the boost is baked directly into the payout calculation the moment a qualifying bet slip is placed. The bigger the accumulator, the higher the multiplier climbs, though the way it's capped turns out to be more layered than the headline percentage suggests.

How the Multiplier Grows With Selections

Selections Multiplier Selections Multiplier
4 ×1.01 13 ×1.10
5 ×1.02 14 ×1.11
6 ×1.03 15 ×1.12
7 ×1.04 16 ×1.13
8 ×1.05 17 ×1.14
9 ×1.06 18 ×1.15
10 ×1.07 19 ×1.16
11 ×1.08 20 ×1.17
12 ×1.09 max ×5.00

The multiplier only applies to selections priced at 1.2 or higher — anything added below that odds floor simply doesn't count toward the selection tally used to look up the boost. MelBet's own published example shows the mechanic end to end: a four-selection accumulator priced at 1.2, 2.0, 1.3, and 1.5 qualifies for the ×1.01 boost. Multiply the four prices together (1.2 × 2.0 × 1.3 × 1.5 = 4.68), apply the ×1.01 multiplier (4.68 × 1.01 = 4.7268), and a 10 USD stake on that slip returns a potential payout of 47.27 USD — a little over 46 cents more than the same accumulator would have paid without the boost.

The Two Caps That Limit the Boost

Two separate limits sit on top of the selection-count table, and they don't work the same way. The first is a hard ceiling on selection count: no more than 23 selections can go into a single accumulator for this offer, and adding a 24th doesn't push the multiplier any higher — MelBet's own example shows a 23-selection accumulator, each leg priced at 1.2, reaching a ×1.2 multiplier, and a 24th selection at the same price still leaves it at ×1.2 rather than climbing to ×1.21. The second cap is relative rather than fixed: the multiplier can never exceed the highest individual selection's own odds in the bet slip. In that same 23-selection example, the linear table progression (roughly +0.01 per selection past the fourth) happens to reach exactly ×1.20 at 23 selections — which is also the odds of the single highest-priced leg in that slip, so the two caps land on the same number by coincidence of that particular example rather than because they're the same rule. On top of both of those, there's a flat ceiling of ×5.00 that the multiplier never crosses regardless of how large or long-odds the accumulator gets.

What Doesn't Count Toward It

A handful of conditions sit outside the core mechanic. Any selection priced below 1.2 doesn't count toward the selection total, so a five-leg accumulator with one selection under that floor is treated as a four-selection bet for boost purposes, not five. If a selection later settles as a refund (odds of 1.00), the multiplier that was already applied to the bet stays exactly as it was — a refund doesn't strip the boost back out once it's been calculated in. The offer works identically across pre-match and live markets, with no difference in how the multiplier is applied between the two. Bets placed from the bonus account or funded through a promo code aren't eligible at all — only real-balance bets qualify — and boosted bets can't be sold or cashed out early the way a standard accumulator sometimes can be.

Offer FAQ

Does the boost work differently on live bets compared to pre-match?

No — the terms specify it applies equally to both pre-match and live markets, with no difference in how the multiplier is calculated.

Can I cash out early on a boosted accumulator to lock in a smaller win?

No — bets carrying the Accumulator Booster can't be sold or cashed out, unlike some standard accumulators elsewhere on the site.

Does a bet placed with bonus funds or a promo code still qualify for the boost?

No — only bets made from the real balance are eligible; bonus-account and promo-code bets are excluded entirely.

Can the multiplier ever end up bigger than my highest-priced individual selection?

No — it's capped so it never exceeds the highest single selection's own odds in the bet slip, on top of the separate selection-count table.

If one of my selections gets refunded, does that remove the boost I already had?

No — the multiplier that applied when the bet was placed stays in place; a refund on one leg doesn't strip it back out.
