MelBet runs a season-long loyalty offer built around Europe's five biggest football leagues, handing out a free bet every Monday to anyone who stayed active on qualifying matches the week before. Unlike a one-off deposit match, this one rewards volume — the more qualifying bets placed in a week, the larger the free bet percentage climbs — which makes the tier structure and the qualifying-bet rules the two things worth understanding before chasing the top bracket.
Which Bets Actually Count
The offer only tracks bets on five specific competitions: the English Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, the Bundesliga, and Ligue 1, running across the full 2026–2027 season from 20 August 2026 to 31 May 2027. Every qualifying bet needs a stake of at least 3 USD, and the odds rules differ depending on bet type — a detail that's easy to miss.
A single bet only counts if placed at odds of 1.5 or higher. An accumulator, on the other hand, needs 3 or more selections, with at least 3 of those selections priced at 1.4 or higher, and every single leg has to come from one of the five listed leagues — mixing in a match from outside the five disqualifies the whole accumulator, not just that leg.
Several bet types are excluded outright regardless of league or odds: handicap and totals (over/under) bets, anything staked from a bonus account, cancelled or sold bets, Advancebets, bets placed using a promo code, refunded bets, and any bet that settles at odds of exactly 1 (a push). Only real-money bets that actually settle before the promotion period ends are counted toward the weekly total.

The Weekly Tier Table, With a Real Calculation
Each promotional week runs Monday 00:00 to Sunday 23:59 (UTC+3), and a minimum of 5 qualifying bets in that window is required before any free bet is issued at all. From there, the percentage scales in eight-step brackets based on how many qualifying bets were placed:
| Qualifying bets in the week | Free bet (% of average stake) |
|---|---|
| 5–8 | 5% |
| 9–12 | 15% |
| 13–16 | 25% |
| 17–20 | 35% |
| 21–24 | 45% |
| 25–28 | 55% |
| 29–32 | 65% |
| 33–35 | 75% |
| 36–39 | 85% |
| 40 or more | 100% |
The percentage applies to the average stake across that week's qualifying bets, not the total staked. Take a player who placed 11 qualifying bets in a week with stakes of 10, 15, 20, 10, 25, 30, 15, 20, 10, 15, and 20 USD — that's a total of 190 USD across 11 bets, for an average stake of roughly 17.27 USD. Landing in the 9–12 bracket unlocks a 15% free bet, so the credited amount works out to about 2.59 USD.
Now compare a heavier week: 42 qualifying bets averaging 12 USD each. That crosses into the 40-or-more bracket, which pays out 100% of the average stake — a 12 USD free bet, more than four times larger than the first example despite a lower average stake, purely because of volume.

The All-Five-Leagues Bonus
On top of the tier percentage, any week in which a player has placed at least one qualifying bet in all five leagues — not just three or four of them — adds a flat 5 percentage points to that week's free bet value. This bonus stacks on whatever tier was already reached; it doesn't require reaching a specific bet count on its own.
Returning to the 42-bet, 12 USD average-stake example: if those bets touched all five leagues rather than just two or three of them, the 100% tier becomes 105%, turning a 12 USD free bet into 12.60 USD. On lower tiers the difference is smaller in absolute terms but proportionally identical — a 5–8 bet week at 5% becomes 10% once all five leagues are covered, doubling that week's free bet outright.

From Credit to Cashable: Wagering the Free Bet
The free bet lands automatically as a promo code every Monday, calculated from the previous week's activity, and it doesn't sit idle indefinitely — it expires 72 hours after being credited. Whatever the amount, it has to be wagered in full as part of an accumulator containing 3 or more selections, with at least 3 of those selections at odds of 1.5 or higher.
That 1.5 threshold for wagering the free bet is worth flagging separately from the 1.4 threshold used to qualify accumulator bets during the earning phase — a bettor used to the 1.4 minimum from earning the free bet could build a wagering accumulator that falls short if they don't check the odds again. Handicap and totals selections still don't count toward this wagering requirement either, mirroring the exclusion from the earning phase.

Eligibility, Opt-In, and Anti-Abuse Rules
Taking part requires more than just placing bets — a customer has to register with a complete profile (full name, activated mobile number, email, country of residence), opt in to bonus offers from Account Settings, and separately press the "Take part" button on the offer page itself before bets start counting. Skipping the opt-in step, common among players who assume simply betting on a top league is enough, means none of that week's activity is tracked.
The promotion is limited to one participation per family, IP address, device, and account, and MelBet reserves broad rights to review betting logs for patterns it considers abusive, cancel or amend the offer without notice, and request identity verification — including a live photo or video call — at any point, with non-compliance forfeiting the bonus and any winnings tied to it.
