Most sports promotions reward a single qualifying bet. 22Bet's Mission of the Month asks for nine — spread across three separate missions — before it hands over a free bet sized to match how much was actually staked along the way.
Three Missions, Nine Bets, All or Nothing
The structure is straightforward on paper but unforgiving in practice: there are three missions running each month, and each mission requires completing three tasks, meaning nine qualifying bets in total need to settle before any reward is possible. Progress toward each mission is visible on the promotion page as bets settle, but the reward itself only exists at the finish line — completing two of the three missions, or even eight of the nine required bets, produces nothing. The rules state plainly that partial completion doesn't qualify for a free bet at all, regardless of how close to finishing a player actually got.

Opting In Comes Before Betting
Unlike a promotion that applies automatically to any qualifying bet, this one requires an explicit opt-in step before betting starts counting: registering or logging in, then specifically enabling participation through Bonuses → Sports Bonus in account settings, and finally pressing "Take part" on the offer page itself. A player who starts placing qualifying-looking bets without completing that opt-in sequence first won't have those bets count toward mission progress.
What Actually Counts as a Qualifying Bet
Each of the nine bets has to meet a specific bar: a single bet (not an accumulator) at odds of 1.90 or higher, placed with real money, and settled before the promotion period closes. The minimum stake per bet is 6 USD or the account-currency equivalent. A fairly long exclusion list sits underneath that: repeat bets placed on the same match don't count, neither do handicap or totals bets unless a specific mission's conditions call for them directly, bets funded through the bonus account, cancelled or sold bets, anything settled below 1.90, Advancebet-funded bets, promo code bets, or refunded bets. That handicap/totals exception is worth noting specifically — it's not a blanket exclusion, since a mission could in principle require exactly that market type as one of its three tasks.

How the Free Bet Amount Gets Calculated
This is the mechanic that sets Mission of the Month apart from a flat-value free bet: the reward is tied directly to how much was actually staked across all nine qualifying bets, not a fixed sum handed out regardless of bet size. The formula takes the total stake across all nine bets, divides by nine to get the average, then doubles that average to produce the free bet amount.
Two contrasting examples show how much this actually swings the reward. A player who bets exactly the 6 USD minimum on all nine qualifying bets ends up with a 54 USD total stake, a 6 USD average, and a 12 USD free bet — modest, but achieved at minimal risk. A player averaging 58 USD per bet across the same nine bets instead reaches a 522 USD total stake and hits the 116 USD maximum free bet the promotion allows, since doubling a 58 USD average lands exactly at that ceiling. Staking beyond that average doesn't push the reward any higher — 116 USD is a hard cap regardless of how much larger the actual average stake works out to be.
Getting and Using the Free Bet
Once all three missions are confirmed complete, the free bet credits automatically within 48 hours, converted into the account's own currency using the prevailing EUR exchange rate at the time. From there, the clock resets: the free bet has to be used within 72 hours of being credited, and it can only be wagered as a single pre-match or live accumulator containing 3 or more selections, each individual leg priced at 1.40 or higher, using the entire free bet amount at once rather than splitting it across smaller bets.

Once a Month, Not More
Only one free bet is available per calendar month regardless of how the nine qualifying bets play out — there's no way to earn a second free bet within the same month even by placing significantly more than nine qualifying bets. A fresh opportunity opens with each new month, meaning a player who misses one month's missions entirely simply starts over with a clean slate rather than carrying any partial progress forward.
