Sports bettors using the MelBet app rather than the desktop site have access to an ongoing weekly cashback: 10% of everything staked through the app during the week comes back automatically as a bonus, with no end date on the promotion itself. The mechanics are simple on the surface, but the app-only restriction, a hard 100 USD cap, and a noticeably tighter 5-day wagering clock than MelBet's other offers all shape how much of that cashback ends up spendable.

How the Weekly Number Is Actually Calculated

Cashback is based purely on total stake, not on results — a losing week generates exactly the same cashback as a winning one, provided the bets themselves qualify. Every Monday through Sunday (00:00 to 23:59, UTC+3), MelBet adds up eligible stakes and applies a flat 10% the following Tuesday.

A player who places three app bets in a week — 12 USD, 10 USD, and 8 USD — has a combined stake of 30 USD. Ten percent of that comes to exactly 3 USD, credited to the bonus account the next day. Scale that up: someone staking 45 USD across seven bets in a week generates 4.50 USD in cashback, and a heavier week of 620 USD in total app stakes would calculate to 62 USD — comfortably inside the cap covered below.

What Actually Counts as an Eligible Bet

The single biggest catch is the word "app" in the offer's own name: only bets placed through the MelBet iOS or Android app count toward the weekly total. A bet placed on the desktop or mobile browser site, even on an identical match at an identical stake, contributes nothing to that week's cashback calculation — a distinction that's easy to miss for a player who moves between the app and a browser depending on which device is nearby.

Beyond the app restriction, a qualifying bet needs a stake of at least 1 USD and has to be a single bet at odds of 1.50 or higher, or part of an accumulator with 2 or more selections where every one of those selections sits at odds of 1.40 or higher. Handicap and totals bets are excluded entirely, along with bets placed from a bonus account, bets using a promo code, cancelled or sold bets, Advancebets, refunded bets, and any bet that settles at exactly odds of 1.00. Only real-money bets that have actually settled by the end of the promotional week are counted.

Turning Cashback Into Real Money: the Wagering Step

Cashback isn't withdrawable the moment it's credited — it has to be wagered 5 times over through accumulator bets before it converts to real funds. The accumulator structure required here is stricter than the one used to earn the cashback in the first place: each qualifying accumulator needs 4 or more selections, with at least 4 of those selections priced at 1.40 or higher.

That's a meaningful jump from the 2-selection minimum used to earn the cashback on the app side — a bettor who's used to building 2-leg accumulators to trigger the weekly reward needs to build noticeably bigger accumulators to clear the wagering requirement itself. Take the 3 USD cashback example from earlier: the wagering target is 5 × 3 USD = 15 USD in qualifying 4-fold-or-larger accumulator stakes, which at a typical 5 USD stake per accumulator means three such bets need to settle successfully.

If a selection inside a winning accumulator settles as a refund, MelBet drops that leg from the selection count when checking whether the 4-selection minimum was met — the same recalculation logic used elsewhere in MelBet's accumulator-based wagering rules, so a bet that looked compliant at placement can fall short once results are in.

The Cap, the Floor, and a Tight Five-Day Clock

Three numeric limits bracket the whole offer. On the top end, cashback maxes out at 100 USD per week regardless of how much larger the total app stake was — a week with 1,500 USD in eligible stakes still only pays the 100 USD ceiling, not 150 USD. On the bottom end, MelBet won't credit anything below 1 USD; a week of light app activity that calculates to, say, 0.60 USD in cashback simply doesn't get credited at all rather than rounding up.

Once credited, the clock is short: the bonus and any winnings generated from it expire after just 5 days from the issue date, noticeably tighter than the 30-day window MelBet gives its deposit-match offer or even the 72-hour free bet from its weekly leagues promotion. Any bonus balance left over after the wagering requirement is cleared — up to the original cashback amount — moves to the main withdrawable balance automatically, but if what remains afterward is smaller than the minimum stake, that leftover amount is written off as lost rather than credited.

Ongoing Eligibility and Restrictions

Unlike time-limited promotions, this cashback offer runs indefinitely with no published end date, but participation still resets around an active opt-in: registering a complete profile (name, verified phone, email, country) isn't enough on its own — a customer also has to enable bonus offers in Account Settings under the Sports category specifically, then separately click "Take part" on the offer page before that week's app bets start counting.

The same real-money-bets-still-count principle applies even when a customer is simultaneously working toward a different MelBet promotion — a bet placed through the app that happens to also qualify for another active offer's tracking is still counted here too, since the "no combining" restriction applies to how bonus funds themselves are used, not to whether an underlying real-money bet can be logged by more than one weekly-earning promotion at once. The usual anti-abuse language applies as well: one participation per account, family, IP address, and device, with MelBet free to review betting patterns, request identity verification, or suspend the offer without notice.

Offer FAQ

Does a bet placed on MelBet's mobile browser site count toward the weekly cashback?

No — only bets placed through the native iOS or Android app are counted, regardless of stake or odds.

Does missing a week's activity end participation in the offer going forward?

No — the cashback runs indefinitely with no expiry date, so a quiet week simply produces no cashback rather than removing eligibility for future weeks.

Can the same real-money bet count toward this cashback and another active MelBet promotion at the same time?

Yes — the restriction on combining bonuses applies to how the resulting bonus funds are used, not to whether one qualifying bet can be tracked by more than one weekly offer.

What happens if a week's calculated cashback works out to less than 1 USD?

Nothing gets credited — MelBet's stated minimum cashback amount is 1 USD, and anything below that threshold is not paid out.

Do the accumulators used to earn cashback need the same number of selections as the ones used to wager it?

No — earning cashback only needs a 2-selection accumulator, while wagering the credited cashback requires accumulators of 4 or more selections.
